BAGERHAT Aug 6, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Nationalist Party-(BNP) today held a victory rally to mark the anniversary of July Mass Uprising  in Bagerhat. 

The rally began from the old market intersection area of the town at 5:30 pm.  After parading various roads, it ended at the central Shaheed Minar. 

The victory rally was attended by BNP Central Committee Research Secretary, Agriculturist Shamimur Rahman Shamim, member Adv. Ahiduzzaman Dipu, former Bagerhat District BNP President MA Salam, Member Secretary Mozaffar Rahman Alam, BNP leader Shamsher Ali Mohan, Khadem Niyamul Nasir Alap, Shahed Ali Robi, Syed Nasir Ahmed Malek, Hadiuzzaman Hiro, newly elected President of Bagerhat Inter-District Bus Minibus Owners Association Sardar Liaquat Hossain, former General Secretary of District Jubo Dal Sujan Molla, Convener of Swechchhasebak Dal Zahidul Islam Shanto, President of Mahila Dal Shahida Akhter and  Former General Secretary of Chhatra Dal Ali Saddam Dwip.

Later, BNP Central Committee Research Secretary Krishibid Shamimur Rahman Shamim addressed a brief rally at Shaheed Minar. 

He said though the people are freed from the murderer Hasina and the long fascist aggression, there is no alternative to election  to ensure the sustainability of democracy and to get the just rights of the people of the country. 

Shamim welcomed the announcement of the July Charter and hailed the Chief Advisor for his declaration for holding 13th national parliamentary polls in February next.
