APBn conducts cleanliness drive in Khulna

Khulna, Nov 1, 2025 (BSS) - The 3rd Armed Police Battalion (APBn), Shiromoni, 
conducted a special cleanliness drive on Saturday to promote a pollution-free 
environment and prevent dengue.

During the drive, a rally was started from the APBn campus at 10 am, paraded 
through Shiromoni Bazar and nearby areas, and concluded at the APBn gate.

Following the rally, the cleanliness drive began with the participation of 
Khulna City Corporation staff, APBn officers and personnel, and local 
volunteers.

During the campaign, Commanding Officer Additional DIG M.M. Salahuddin 
expressed gratitude for the spontaneous participation of local residents and 
called for continued community cooperation to build a clean, healthy, and 
livable city. 

Superintendent of Police (SP) G.M. Abul Kalam, Additional SP Mahbubur Rahman, 
Assistant SP A.K.M. Fosiur Rahman and all officers and members of the 
battalion participated in the campaign.

Local dignitaries, including former Secretary of Shiromoni Bazar Traders' 
Association, public representatives, and local residents also joined the 
event.
