Social watchdogs call for strengthening women network

RAJSHAHI, Nov 12, 2025 (BSS)- Speakers at a participatory meeting here today unequivocally called for strengthening the women networks for their 
empowerment.

They unanimously viewed that utmost emphasis should be given on creating 
congenial atmospheres so that the women can build bilateral relations and 
close coordination among them to boost their social dignity.

Khan Foundation, Samata Nari Kolyan Sangstha (SNKS) and Paribartan jointly 
organised the meeting at Hotel Warisan in the city, discussing and devising 
ways and means on how to empower women through enhancing their network.

Social Service Officer Matinur Rahman, Women Affairs Officer Ferdous Rabeya, SNKS Director Nazrul islam, Paribartan Director Rashed Ibne Obayed and 
Director of Bangladesh National Women Lawyers Association Advocate Dil Sitara Chuni, among others, addressed the meeting.

President of Bangladesh Mohila Parishad Kolpona Roy presided over the 
meeting.

The speakers said flourishing leadership of women and sustainable development can be possible through establishing good governance and democracy.

Building awareness in the levels of family, social and institution and 
supportive atmosphere can be the crucial means of enhancing women 
participation in all stages of the society.

Communication development among the women entrepreneurs, professional and social organizations is the precondition to boost capacity along with 
expanding leadership spaces.
