PIROJPUR, Nov 14, 2025 (BSS)- The 16th National Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiad 2025 was held today at Pirojpur Science and Technology University (PRSTU).
The event began with the hoisting of flag and releasing pigeons on the PRSTU administrative building premises at 10am.
PRSTU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Shahidul Islam presided over the event, while computer scientist Prof Dr Mohammad Kaykobad attended as the chief guest.
A total of 123 students from 13 institutes of Barishal Division and Gopalganj district participated in the competition, arranged with the joint collaboration of Bangladesh Mathematical Society and A F Mujibur Rahman Foundation.
