RANGAMATI, Nov 14, 2025 (BSS) - A two-day conference with the poets and writers from across the three hill districts begins today in Rangamati.

The conference, titled 'Chittagong Hill Tracts Writers' conference-2025' has been going on at the Shilpakala Academy auditorium here.

Poet Mirttika Chakma inaugurated the conference by igniting a candle.

Chakma Circle Chief Raja Barrister Debashis Ray attended the conference as the chief guest with Poet Ongsui Marma in the chair.

Writers, poets from Rangamati, Khagrachari and Bandarbanand and representatives from local administration were present during the inauguration of the event.
