JASHORE, Nov 29, 2025 (BSS) - Two men were killed tonight in a road accident in the Jogahati area under Kotwali Thana here in the district.

The deceased were identified as Selim Hossain, 38, son of Afil Uddin of Alisa Jadunathpur village in Moheshpur upazila of Jhenaidah district and Ibrahim Hossain, 40, son of Tahazzal Hossain from the same area.

According to Saziali Police Camp ASI Niamul Hossain, the accident occurred when a passenger bus struck the motorcycle, killing Selim and Ibrahim on the spot. They were reportedly on their way to a hospital in Jashore to visit a patient.

Police recovered the bodies and sent them to Jashore General Hospital morgue for autopsy. The bus involved in the accident was also seized, and legal action will be taken in this regard, the officer added.
