Training on slaughtering sacrificial animals, skin preservation held in Gobindaganj

GAIBANDHA, MAY 24, 2026 (BSS) - A day-long training on slaughtering sacrificial animals and its skin preservation was held at the conference room of Gobindaganj upazila administration in the district today. 

Upazila livestock office arranged the training in cooperation with the upazila administration. 

UNO Syeda Yasmin Sultana attended the function as chief guest with upazila livestock officer Dr. Abdus Samad in the chair.

Livestock officer Samad elaborately discussed techniques on how to separate the skin from the body of the animals. 

Yasmin urged all to pursue proper way while slaughtering sacrificial animals and separate the skin from the body of the animals.

Local butchers, among others, participated in the training.
