DINAJPUR, June 9, 2026 (BSS) - A teenage boy was killed in a road accident at Haripur Pirdaha village under Nawabganj upazila of the district on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Md. Milon Mia, 15, son of Baharul Mia of the village.
 
According to police, Milon was moving a trolley along the village road when the accident took place around 12.30 pm. While transporting the trolley, he got stuck with the branch of a tree and fell under the wheels of the trolley. He sustained severe injuries after being crushed by the trolley.

Local residents rescued him and rushed him to Nawabganj Upazila Health Complex, where the on duty doctors declared him dead.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nawabganj Police Station Md. Abdul Quddus confirmed the incident.
