BERLIN, Feb 2, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Some 160,000 poured into the streets of central Berlin on Sunday to protest against the far right, three weeks before a key parliamentary election, a police spokesman told AFP.

The demonstration was called after Germany's conservatives sought the support of the far right party in parliament, shattering decades-old norms. Organisers put the turn-out at 200,000.
