DHAKA, Nov 12, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh High Commission in London has showcased the country's rich cultural heritage at the Commonwealth Fair held at Kensington Town Hall marking the 100th anniversary of the Commonwealth Countries League (CCL) and celebrating all 56 member nations.

The Bangladesh pavilion at the fair held on Saturday drew wide attention with its display of exquisite handcrafted jute and textile products, leather goods, and beautiful pearls, reflecting the nation's vibrant craft traditions and cultural identity, according to a message received here today.

Visitors also enjoyed a taste of authentic Bangladeshi cuisine at the fair, which brought together representatives from across the Commonwealth to promote cultural exchange and goodwill.

Proceeds from the event will go to support the vital work of the Commonwealth Girls' Education Fund (CGEF), which provides educational opportunities for underprivileged girls in Commonwealth countries.
