DHAKA, Nov 29, 2024 (BSS) - Three more dengue patients died and 354 were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.

"During the period, 91 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka North City, 85 in Dhaka South City, 46 in Dhaka division (outside of city corporations), 41 in Rajshahi division (outside city corporation) while 38 in Chattogram division (outside city corporation), 25 in Khulna division (outside city corporation), 22 in Mymensingh division (outside city corporation), five in Barishal division (outside city corporation) and one in Rangpur division (outside city corporation)," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Meanwhile, 588 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country in last 24 hours. With this, 87,281 people have been discharged this year.

DGHS said that a total of 90,794 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals since January this year. Of them, 485 people have died of dengue so far this year.
