DHAKA, May 24, 2026 (BSS) - Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed today inspected the under-construction headquarters of the Counter Terrorism and 
Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit at Agargaon in the capital.

During the visit, the minister reviewed the overall progress of the project, including its security infrastructure and technology-based operational 
facilities.

Officials concerned informed him that the construction work is progressing with the target of completing the project within the stipulated timeframe.

Once operational, the new CTTC building is expected to significantly enhance the unit's operational capacity in combating cybercrime, militancy, and 
transnational crimes through advanced technological support.

Senior officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner, and top CTTC officials were present during the 
inspection.
