
PATUAKHALI, Nov 29, 2025 (BSS) – BNP Training Affairs Secretary ABM Mosharraf Hossain today said if BNP comes to power, it will not oppress or persecute anyone like the Awami League.
He said this while addressing a rally organized by the Chakamaiya Union Jubo Dal at the Chakamaiya Government Primary School ground in Kalapara upazila of Patuakhali district.
Upazila BNP President Humayun Sikder addressed the event as the special guest with Jubo Dal leader Abu Zafar Howlader in the chair.
Mosharraf Hossain, also BNP nominee for the Patuakhali-4 (Kalapara-Rangabali) constituency for the next parliamentary election, said, “Chakamaiya Union is a neglected area. For real development of this region, people must vote for the ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ (BNP’s electoral symbol) in the national elections.”
“If a free and fair election is held, Insha’Allah BNP will come to power. And if BNP comes to power, it will not oppress or persecute anyone like Awami League,” he said.
He also sought everyone’s prayers for the recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, who is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Dhaka.
