Navy Chief lauds BNCC's conducive role during country's crisis

SAVAR, Dec 9, 2025 (BSS) - Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) of the Bangladesh Navy 
Admiral Mohammad Nazmul Hassan today said that the Bangladesh National Cadet 
Corps (BNCC), which plays a very conducive role during the country's crisis, 
is being made more up-to-date to build a well-educated, skilled and modern-
thinking young society to strengthen the country's future development.

"The BNCC has been playing a leading role in all important times of the 
country's crisis with the great vow of serving the country," he told the 
closing parade of the annual central camping of the BNCC Directorate at 
Bypile here.

Congratulating the BNCC members, the Navy Chief highly appreciated the 
leading role of its cadets at the social and national levels. 

He categorically said the cadets of this voluntary organisation, which is a 
combination of the Army, Navy and Air Force, have been making important 
contributions to various national crises and humanitarian activities, 
including disaster management, traffic control and raising social awareness 
as well.

Earlier, he remembered with deep respect all the martyrs, injured and heroic 
freedom fighters, including the BNCC cadets who made their supreme sacrifices 
in the Great Liberation War in 1971.
 
He inspected and saluted the parade of the cadets.

Assistant Chief of the Navy (Personnel), Commander Dhaka Naval Area, Director 
General of BNCC Directorate, and military and civilian officers and 
employees, among others, also attended on the occasion.
