MANIKGANJ, May, 24, 2026 (BSS) - The ferry services between Paturia -Daulatdia suspended from 8:30 pm due to nor'wester lashes over Padma river route area along with heavy rain, said Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Paturia Ghat sources.

BIWTC Paturia Ghat Deputy General Manager Abdus Salam said the authorities concerned decided to suspend the ferry movement between Paturia -Daulatdia for the safety of vehicles and passengers, adding that the ferry movement will resume as soon as the weather become normal.
