Abdun Naser Khan made industries secretary

DHAKA, June 9, 2026 (BSS) – The government today transferred Abdun Naser Khan, secretary of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute, to the Ministry of Industries as secretary, replacing Obaidur Rahman.

“The transfer order published for the public interest will come into effect immediately,” according to a notification of the ministry of public administration.

The notification said that the government appointed secretary (contractual) of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute Abdun Naser Khan, as the new Industries secretary.

According to another notification, signed by senior assistant secretary of public administration ministry Jati Prue, Industries secretary Md Obaidur Rahman has been attached to the ministry of public administration.
