
DHAKA, June 9, 2026 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) today held the certificate awarding ceremony for graduates of the 131st Junior Command and Staff Course (JCSC) at BAF Base Cox's Bazar.
Air Vice Marshal Md Manjur Kabir Bhuiyan, Air Officer Commanding of the Air Command Operation Centre, attended the ceremony as the chief guest and distributed certificates and trophies among the graduating officers, said an ISPR press release this evening.
Bangladesh Air Force Squadron Leader Ahmad Musa received the "Chief of Air Staff Trophy" in recognition of his outstanding performance in the course.
Addressing the ceremony, the chief guest congratulated the graduating officers and underscored the importance of professionalism, leadership and continuous skill development in discharging their future responsibilities effectively.
He also offered guidance to the officers for their professional growth and career development. A total of 58 officers from Bangladesh and abroad participated in the course.
The course was designed to enhance officers' capabilities in carrying out command, staff and instructional duties at different levels of the armed forces through the integration of professional knowledge and practical experience.
Senior officials from Air Headquarters and BAF Base Cox's Bazar, instructors and invited guests, among others, attended the closing ceremony.
