Samit arrives in Dhaka

DHAKA, Nov 12, 2025 (BSS)- Canada-based midfielder Samit Som has arrived in Dhaka on Tuesday to play a friendly match against Nepal and an AFC qualifier against India.

Bangladesh will face Nepal in a FIFA friendly match tomorrow (Thursday). The Jamal Bhuiyan and Co. will then face India in their home match of AFC Asian Cup qualifier on November 18. Both the matches will be held at National Stadium in Dhaka. 

Samit made his debut in the Bangladesh jersey in the Singapore match on June 10 last. He scored a goal in the second match on October 9.

Earlier, Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury arrived Monday to play the two matches against Nepal and India.
