Two new members added to BCB Inquiry committee

DHAKA, Nov 12, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) added two new members in the inquiry committee formed to investigate allegations of misconduct in women's cricket.

Eminent legal professionals, Professor Dr Naima Huq, Former Chair of the Department of Law at the University of Dhaka and current Member of the Law Commission, Bangladesh, and Barrister Muhammed Mustafizur Rahman Khan, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh have been added to the committee, chaired by Justice Tariq ul Hakim, retired Justice of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, a BCB press release stated today.

The other members are Rubaba Dowla, Director of the BCB, and Barrister Sarwat Siraj Shukla, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court and President of the Bangladesh Women's Sports Association.
