Jamal, Zayyan include in starting eleven

DHAKA, Nov 13, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh skipper Jamal Bhuyan and left-back 
Zayyan Ahmed have been included in the starting eleven for Bangladesh in a 
FIFA international friendly match against Nepal at the National Stadium here 
this (Thursday) night.

The match kicks off at 8:00 pm and will be live telecast on T-Sports.

American expatriate Zayan performed well as a substitute against Hong Kong in 
Dhaka on October 9. The coach then kept him in the starting eleven for the 
away match on October 14. Coach Javier Cabrera also has put confidence in him 
for today's friendly match. Jamal returns to the starting lineup for the 
first time since June.

Canada-based midfielder Shamit Shome has been left out of the playing eleven. 
Shamit, who arrived early Wednesday, participated in training later in the 
day but was not considered in the playing eleven.

Jamal will lead the midfield along with Hamza Choudhury, Sohel Rana Sr, and 
Sohel Rana Jr. The backline features Zayyan Ahmed, Topu Barman, Tariq Kazi, 
and Saad Uddin. Cabrera kept his faith on goalkeeper Mitul Marma under the 
bar.

Rakib Hossain and Faisal Ahmed Fahim will lead the front.

Zayyan Ahmed, Sohel Rana Sr, Sohel Rana Jr, Hamza Choudhury, Jamal Bhuyan,
