DHAKA, Nov 14, 2025 (BSS) - Chattagram district football team finished third in the National Championship football beating Jashore district football team by 2-1 goals in the third place deciding match held at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium n the city's Kamalapur today.

In the day's match, Tanvir Hossain put Chattogram ahead in the 15th minute but the lead lasted for a minute as Jashore restored the parity through a suicidal goal scored by Chattogram's Nazim Hossain Mithu in the 16th minute.

After the breather, Jahedul Alam however sealed the victory scoring the second goal for Chattogram in the 75th minute of the match. He was later named the player of the match for his impressive performance in the match.
