6th National Squash championship begins tomorrow

DHAKA, June 9, 2026 (BSS) – The final phase of the 6th National Squash Championship will begin tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Army Squash Complex in the capital.

Organised by the Bangladesh Squash Racket Federation (BSRF) with sponsorship from Urmi Group and Turaag Active, the tournament will feature a record number of participants and is expected to showcase some of the country's most promising squash talents.

In addition to the Army Squash Complex, matches in the final phase will also be played at the Army Officers' Mess and Bashundhara Sports City on a round-robin league basis.

The championship will feature competition in ten categories, including men's and women's open events, diplomat/amateur/member/university student (open) category, and boys' and girls' Under-11, Under-13 and Under-15 divisions.
The tournament will conclude on June 13 with the finals and prize-giving ceremony at the Army Squash Complex.
