DHAKA, Sep 1, 2024 (BSS) - The implementation rate of the Annual Development
Programme (ADP) during the first month (July) of the current fiscal year
(FY25) reached 1.05 percent with an expenditure of Taka 2,922.36 crore.
According to the latest report of the Implementation Monitoring and
Evaluation Division (IMED), the ADP implementation rate in July of the last
fiscal year (FY24) was 1.27 percent with an overall allocation of Taka
3,489.09 crore.
The ADP implementation rate in the first month (July) of FY23 was 0.96
percent with an expenditure of Taka 2,455.05 crore.
The ADP implementation rate usually remains low at the beginning of the
fiscal year as project officials remain busy with necessary preparatory work
and paper work during this period, said IMED officials.
The government's overall ADP allocation for the current fiscal year is Taka
278,288.90 crore.
In the current fiscal year, there are some 1,352 development projects
including 1,155 investment projects, 21 feasibility study projects, 87
technical assistance projects, 9 projects from development block allocation
and 80 projects from concerned organizations own fund.
