DHAKA, Oct 17, 2024 (BSS) - Administrator of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Md Hafizur Rahman today urged the business community to make logical profit for keeping stable the country's commodity market.
"Due to natural calamities including floods, the price of daily commodities had increased slightly. But now, the prices have increased abnormally which is uncomfortable for mass people," he said while exchanging views with retailers and wholesalers of daily commodities at FBCCI Motijheel office in the city, said a press release.
Hafizur urged the business community to work together for ensuring fair price of the essentials.
Among others, FBCCI Secretary General Md Alamgir, Director of the Bangladesh Competition Commission Dr Umme Binte Salam and Organizing Secretary of the Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB) Syed Mijanur Raham spoke on the occasion.
