DHAKA, Nov 3, 2024 (BSS) - Stocks today performed mixed with major indices finishing flat.
 
The benchmark index of the Dhaka bourse closed the day with 8.54 points down at 5,190.86. The blue-chip DS30 closed the day with 10.62 points down at 1,915.44. But the Shariah DSES closed the day with 2.24 points up at 1147.15.
 
Out of 398 isues traded, 181 closed lower, 178 advanced and 39 issues remained unchanged on the DSE floor.
 
ORIONPHARM topped the turnover chart, followed by LOVELLO, BSC, SONALIANSH and AGNISYSL.
 
AFTABAUTO was the day's top gainer, posting 10 per cent gain, while RENWICKJA was the worst loser, losing 7.10 per cent.
 
But, the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed the day of the week with upward trend with its major CASPI 20.90 points down at 14,462.91.
 
At CSE, 205 issues were traded. Of those, 116 closed higher and 66 closed lower when 2.88 million lakh shares worth Taka 120.09 million changed hands.
