Remittance inflow rises by 36.6 in first 29 days of April

DHAKA, April 30, 2025 (BSS) -The country's remittance inflow witnessed a remarkable year-on-year growth of 36.6 percent, reaching US$2,607.6 million in the first 29 days of April.
 
According to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB), the country logged a total of $1,908.3 million in remittances during the same period last year.
 
Expatriates have sent remittances of $24,392.7 million during the July 2024 - 29 April 2025 of the current fiscal year, which was only $18,982.8 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
