DHAKA, Nov 2, 2025 (BSS) - Md. Abdur Rahim Khan, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, has assumed charge as the Administrator of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the apex trade body of the country.
Rahim formally took over his responsibilities as the new Administrator of the FBCCI this morning, said an FBCCI press release.
According to an office order issued by the Ministry of Commerce, Md. Abdur Rahim Khan was appointed Administrator of FBCCI under Section 17 of the Trade Organizations Act, 2022.
As per the order, Rahim will complete a fair and impartial election within 120 days and thus hand over responsibility to the newly elected board.
