DHAKA, Nov 27, 2025 (BSS) - A significant dialogue was held today between the market regulator, the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), and various capital market stakeholders regarding the draft ‘Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (Public Offer of Equity Securities) Rules- 2025’.
 
The meeting commenced at the BSEC’s Multipurpose Hall in the city, said a press release.
 
Khondoker Rashed Maqsood, Chairman of the BSEC, presided over the session.
 
The purpose of the meeting was to conduct a detailed discussion concerning the draft Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (Public Offer of Equity Securities) Rules, 2025.
 
 During the proceedings, capital market stakeholders presented their opinions and suggestions on various issues related to the proposed 2025 regulations.
