18.3pc growth of remittance inflow till Dec 10

DHAKA, Dec 10, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 18.3 percent reaching US$1290 million in the 10 days of December, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.

Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1091 million.
 During the July to Dec 10, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $14,329 million, which was $12,228 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
