Dr Mustafa K Mujeri, Dr Enamul Haque join PKSF General Body

DHAKA, Dec 28, 2025 (BSS) - Dr Mustafa K Mujeri, a distinguished economist and the Executive Director of the Institute for Inclusive Finance and Development (InM), and Dr A K Enamul Haque, Director General of the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS), have joined the General Body of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), established by the government of Bangladesh.

They will replace Md Raisul Alam Mondal and Dr Abdullah Al Mahmud, whose terms as the members of the PKSF general body have expired.

This was announced today at the 36th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of PKSF, held at PKSF Bhaban-1. In the meeting, the audited accounts of PKSF for the fiscal year 2024–25 were approved, said a press release.

Earlier in the day, the 263rd meeting of the PKSF Governing Board was held. Both the meetings were chaired by PKSF Chairman Zakir Ahmed Khan and attended by Managing Director Md Fazlul Kader, Governing Body Members Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain, Nurun Nahar, Farzanah Chowdhury, Prof Dr Md Taufiqul Islam and Lila Rashid, PhD. In addition, all members of the General Body were present in the AGM.

In the meetings, detailed discussions were held on the effectiveness of PKSF’s interventions in creating decent employment for low-income people, and decisions were made for increasing funds of different skill and enterprise development programmes.
