DHAKA, Aug 31, 2026 (BSS)- Bangladesh is set to further strengthen its presence in the global textile and apparel market as 17 Bangladeshi companies are participating in Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris 2026, one of Europe's leading trade fairs for the textile, apparel and leather industries.

The 59th edition of the international trade fair began today and will continue until September 1 at Paris Le Bourget, bringing together around 1,300 manufacturers from nearly 35 countries, said a press release here today.

The exhibition is providing Bangladeshi exhibitors with opportunities to showcase fabrics, apparel and other textile products, establish business contacts with international buyers and explore new sourcing and business partnerships.

Major textile and apparel-producing countries, including Bangladesh, Pakistan, China, India, Türkiye, Myanmar, South Korea, Japan and Italy are participating in the fair.

Bangladesh is participating with a total of 17 companies representing its textile and apparel sector.

Hoorain High Tech (HTF), NZ Denim and NZ Fabric are participating in the Texworld segment while Nexgen Apparel and H&F Fashion are taking part in Apparel Sourcing.

Besides, 12 Bangladeshi companies are participating under the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Pavilion. They are Comoda Garments, Skylark Knit Composite, Norban Comtex, Warptex, BNM Garments Industry, Fabitex Industries, DK Textile, Fabrica Knit Composite, Ducati Apparels, Corus Fashion, Bengal Glory and SIM Fabrics.

The participation reflects Bangladesh's continued engagement with international textile and apparel markets and its efforts to expand market 
access and business opportunities.

The fair is also offering participating Bangladeshi companies a platform to promote their products, strengthen relationships with international buyers and explore new sourcing opportunities.

Bangladesh has consolidated its position as the world's second-largest sourcing hub for finished apparel after China, the release added.

The Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris is bringing together manufacturers, suppliers and professional buyers from across the global fashion and textile industry.
