RAJSHAHI, Jan 8, 2024 (BSS) - A devastating fire broke out at Rajshahi Development Authority (RDA) market in Rajshahi city this (Monday) evening.
 
AKM Murshed, Senior Assistant Director of Fire Service and Civil Defense, said the fire broke out at a grocery shop on the ground floor of the three-storey RDA market around 7:35 pm and spread soon.

On information, eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and put the blaze under control around 8.15 pm.
 
However, the reason behind the fire and extent of the loss from the fire could be known immediately.

No casualty was reported so far.
