CHAPAINAWABGANJ, January 11, 2024 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion

(RAB) in a drive arrested an alleged arms peddler with a foreign pistol, a
magazine and 21 rounds of bullet from Shibganj in the district this
afternoon.

The arrested person was Md Enamul Hoque, 56 of Uparchakpara village under
Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district.

RAB said, acting on detective information, an operation team of RAB-5 from
Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid at Uparchakpara village at around 12:10
pm and arrested Enamul with the arms and ammunition.

Later, the elite force handed him over to the police of Shibganj thana with a
case, the sources added.
