CHAPAINAWABGANJ, May 11, 2024 (BSS)- Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)
arrested a man from Shibganj upazila in the district yesterday and recovered
a pistol, six bullets and 37 bottles of Indian wine from his possession.

The arrested was Shree Prosenjit Kormokar, 30, of Lakshmipur village under
Shibganj upazila.

BGB said acting on detective information, a patrol team of the BGB from
Sonamasjid border out post conducted a raid in Koilabari area under
Shahbajpur union of Shibganj upazila around 8.35 am and arrested the
aforesaid person with the arms, ammunition and wine.

Later, the arrested person was handed over to the Shibganj thana police with
a case, the sources added.
