CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 1, 2024 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested one person with a foreign pistol, two magazines and six round of bullet from Gomostapur in Chapainawabganj district last night.

The arrested person was identified as Md. Sohan Ali, 20, of Shreerampur village under Nachole upazila in Chapainawabganj district.

RAB said acting on a tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 conducted a raid at Morichadanga intersection under Gomostapur upazila in Chapainawabganj district at around 10:30 pm and arrested Sohan with the arms and ammunition.

Later, the elite force handed him over to the Gomostapur police station after filing a case, the sources added.
