MUNSHIGANJ, Oct 23, 2024 (BSS) - A helper of a covered van was killed as it hit a truck on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Srinagar upazila here last night.

The deceased was Sajid Hasan, hailed from Bhanga Upazila in Faridpur district.

Station Officer of Srinagar Fire service Dewan Azad said the accident occurred last night in Bejgaon area on the Expressway. Sajid died on the spot.

The body was handed over to Highway Thana police, he added.
