KHULNA, Oct 30, 2024(BSS) – Members of joint forces arrested a drug peddler from Terokhada Upazila on Tuesday, said a press release of Navy last night.

 Drug peddler Md Mahbub Sheikh alias Babu Sheikh is a resident of Terokhada upazila in the district.

On information, a team of Navy and Police went on a drive at Sheikhpura Bazar area on Tuesday and arrested Mahbub.

The forces also seized 510 pieces of contra banned yaba tablets, a lethal weapon and four mobile phones after searching his house, said the press release.

The arrested was handed over to Terokhada Police along with the seized drugs.
