SAVAR, Nov 20, 2024 (BSS) –   Husband   was killed while carrying his wife’s body   on a freezer van   as    it hit  a roadside tree on Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Dhamrai Upazila today.

The deceased was identified as Faridul Islam, 34, hailed from Rajapur in Pabna district. Five others were also injured in the accident.

Highway police said the accident occurred this noon as the driver of the freezer van lost his control over the steering in Balitha area on the Highway  .
Faridul died on the spot. He was bringing his wife’s body with some relatives to Manikganj from Dhaka Medical College Hospital by the van.

Officer-in-Charge of Golra Highway Thana Rupol Chandra Das confirmed it.
