BANDARBAN, Nov 27, 2025 (BSS) - Saching Pru Jerry, the BNP-nominated candidate for Bandarban constituency 300, has honored 750 leaders, activists, and supporters who were victims of lawsuits, attacks, imprisonment, and torture during the 17-year rule of the fascist Awami League government.

The programme was organized at the Hotel Hill View Center in the city's bus stand area today.

The persecuted leaders and activists were welcomed with flowers and awarded honorary crests.

Saching Pru Jerry also handed over honorary crests to the mothers of five leaders and activists who died due to illness.

BNP leaders Professor Md. Osman Gani, Mujibur Rashid, Abdul Mabud, Mashiur Rahman Mithun, Jahangir Alam, and various leaders of the district and upazila were present.

Saching Pru Jerry said, "BNP is now united under the leadership of Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. Forgetting division, we must make the Sheaf of Paddy victorious. Those who have been subjected to oppression and torture in the movement are the lifeblood of BNP."
