Narsingdi, 12 Feb 2026 (BSS)- A different scene of camaraderie was witnessed in the electoral race of Narsingdi-1 (Sadar) constituency as three rival
candidates were seen engaging in friendly conversation and light-hearted banter.

Paddy Sheaf candidate Khairul Kabir Khokon, Scale symbol candidate Md. Ibrahim Bhuiyan, and Gono Odhikar Parishad candidate Advocate Shirin Akter
were found chatting together in a cordial atmosphere.

The scene was observed around 9:30 am today at the field of Rajadi High School in Narsingdi sadar upazila, drawing the attention of voters and
supporters present there.

Despite electoral rivalry, the display of mutual respect and warmth among the candidates attracted public attention. They exchanged greetings and engaged
in playful remarks. At one point, one candidate was heard jokingly telling another, "We are people in favour of a mass uprising," which created a moment
of laughter among those present.

Voters said such a positive environment adds to the festive mood of the election. According to them, maintaining courtesy among rivals sends a
constructive message for democracy. Many voters enjoyed the moment and some captured it on their mobile phones.

Relevant sources believe such friendly gestures help foster a tolerant political culture.

Amid the busy campaign schedule, the candidates' amiable interaction has sparked positive discussions in the area. Voters expressed hope that a
peaceful atmosphere will prevail throughout the election despite competitive contests.
