Russia says destroyed 132 Ukrainian drones overnight

MOSCOW, March 20, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Russia's Ministry of Defence said Thursday that it destroyed 132 Ukrainian drones launched in overnight attacks in several regions throughout the country, as foreign powers press for a ceasefire in the three-year-old conflict.

"Over the course of the past night, air defence systems on duty destroyed 132 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles," Moscow's defence ministry said in a Telegram post.
