Trump leaves Egypt after Gaza summit: AFP

SHARM EL SHEIKH, Egypt, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - US President Donald Trump headed back to Washington Monday after a lightning trip to Egypt and Israel to seek a long-term Gaza peace settlement.

Air Force One left the Egyptian resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh after a Gaza summit with more than two dozen world leaders, an AFP photographer on board said.
