China's Xi lands in South Korea ahead of Trump talks: state media

BEIJING, Oct 30, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Chinese leader Xi Jinping arrived in South Korea on Thursday, state media reported, ahead of a closely watched meeting with his American counterpart Donald Trump.

"On the morning of October 30 local time, President Xi Jinping arrived in South Korea by special plane to attend the 32nd APEC informal leaders meeting and pay a state visit to South Korea at the invitation of President Lee Jae Myung," China's Xinhua news agency reported.
