Russian strikes kill one person in eastern Ukraine city: governor

KYIV, Ukraine, Nov 17, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Russian strikes killed one person in eastern Ukraine's Balakliya city, the region's governor said on Monday.

"The enemy launched missile strikes on the city of Balakliya," Kharkiv regional governor Oleg Synegubov posted on Telegram, adding that at least seven people were wounded and apartment buildings and cars damaged.
