Zelensky awards UK's Starmer Ukrainian 'Order of Freedom' on farewell trip

KYIV, Ukraine, July 16, 2026 (BSS/AFP) - Ukraine awarded Britain's Keir Starmer its Order of Freedom honour on Thursday during a final visit to Kyiv by the outgoing prime minister.

"Britain has always been, and remains, with Ukraine, and we value this immensely," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told Starmer at a press conference in Kyiv.
