SANGSAD BHABAN, June 11, 2026 (BSS) - A 'Pink Bus Service', completely
operated and managed by women, is going to be launched in the country.

Finance Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury revealed this while presenting
the proposed national budget for the fiscal year 2026-2027 in the Jatiya
Sangsad today.

He said a time-bound national action plan is being adopted and implemented to
ensure an environment conducive to the development of children, alongside
strengthening legal measures to eliminate child labor, especially forced
child labor. To this end, a draft of the 'National Action Plan 2026-2030' has
already been formulated.

The Finance Minister added that the current government's efforts will
continue to ensure a safe and non-discriminatory working environment for
women and children.
