DHAKA, Oct 21, 2024 (BSS)- The admission tests for the first-year undergraduate programme at Dhaka University (DU) for the 2024-25 academic session are set to begin on January 4, 2025.

This decision came from a meeting of the university's General Admission Committee, chaired by DU Vice- Chancellor Prof Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan at university’s senate Bhaban, said a DU press release.

According to the decision, the Fine Arts unit test will be held on January 4, the Arts, Law, and Social Sciences unit test on January 25, Science unit test on February 1, and the Business Studies unit test on February 8.

However, the admission test for the Institute of Business Administration will be held January 3, before the general schedule.
 
The application process for the admission tests will begin online from 12 pm on November 4 and will continue until 11:59 pm on November 25.

The application fee for the tests has been set at Taka 1,050, according to the release.
