DHAKA, Jan 2, 2025 (BSS) – Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman met BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan residence Firoza tonight.
 
BNP chairperson’s security affairs adviser Major General (retd) Fazle Elahi Akbar welcomed the Army Chief and his wife upon their arrival around 8:30pm, according to the party’s media cell.
 
During the 40-minute courtesy meeting, the army chief enquired about the health condition of the former Prime Minister and wished her quick recovery.
