DHAKA, Mar 1, 2025 (BSS) - European Union (EU) Commissioner for equality, preparedness and crisis management Hadja Lahbib arrived in Dhaka today on a three-day official visit.
 
Secretary (east) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Md. Nazrul Islam received her at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, said a foreign ministry press release.
 
Commissioner Lahbib is travelling to Cox’s bazar today to visit the Rohingya camps and interact with local stakeholders, including the host community. 

During her stay in Bangladesh, Lahbib would meet with the Chief Adviser and the Foreign Affairs Adviser, among others, said the release.
