Info adviser seeks Turkish investment in Bangladesh economic zones

DHAKA, April 12, 2025 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md. Mahfuj Alam has invited Turkish investors to come up with investment in Bangladesh economic zones as Turkish Trade Minister Professor Ömer Bolat called on him on the sidelines of the "Antalya Diplomacy Forum-2025" in Türkiye. 

Important aspects of bilateral trade and economic relations between Türkiye and Bangladesh were discussed at their meeting on Friday, said an official release here today. 

Referring to the historic ties of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries, Ömer Bolat said the Turkish government is interested in strengthening economic relations with Bangladesh.

He also expressed interest in holding a session of the Türkiye-Bangladesh Joint Economic Commission in Dhaka later this year.
